Wordpress plugin ~ Seesmic
Recently, I have found an interesting wordpress plugin, that is Seesmic wordpress plugin. This plugin allows for video comments to be added to your wordpress powered blogs. Video comments add a new dimension when readers comment in 2-way, threaded communication. The latest version is 0.1.5.
The plugin can also help you to easy your posting that related to video.
1. Record one or more Seesmic video's to a post.
2. Allow for replies and threaded conversation.
3. Accept authenticated or anonymous video comments.
4. Moderate video comments exactly like text comments.
Beware of using this plugin, as the name of the plugin directory changed when we added it to the official wordpress plugin site. So be careful you keep the seesmic-wp version. Requirement is wordpress version 2.1 and above.
Configuration as in Comment Moderation options, "Hold a comment in the queue if it contains x or more links" must be set to 3 or more.
Common Issues with Custom ThemesThe default tag id <textarea id="comment"> must be included. It should already be included in most standard themes.must be included in your header template in between the HEAD tags.
Otherwise the JavaScript includes will not be defined correctly and you will not be able to record or play videos.

Sponsorship - Sponsored advertising is a great way to monetize some blogs. Generally speaking (and there are exceptions), the more specific the topic of a blog, the more likely this will prove to be a viable advertising solution and it may be easier to bag sponsored ads than you think. And, because this is Wordpress, there are plugins that help you do it too (AdServe is a good one).
Affiliate Data Feeds - Most affiliate networks have some form of data feed or affiliate feed. If you intend to promote affiliate programs then make the most of these, but ensure that the feed fits with your site. Don't just slap up a bit of code and expect it to miraculously turn your hobby blog into a multi-million dollar, award winning blog because it takes careful planning, ad placement optimization, and some trial and error to get the best results. There are numerous plugins to use with the Amazon affiliate program and other programs so make the most of them.
Blog Networks. A blog network is, unsurprisingly, a network of blogs. The overall aim and the method that connects the blogs differs with each network. Some may be connected by having different subdomains on the same main domain. Others may simply use the same banner. Similarly, some networks are established to bring profit to bloggers and (understandably) to the network owner. Other networks want nothing more than to promote a near state of hippie euphoria over one particular topic.
They work out for some by providing traffic, improving search rankings, and even helping out with the general blogging process. Similarly, some networks are so powerful that they can generate thousands of hits to a blog instantly before you even submit a post, while your blog may carry a smaller network if you have good traffic levels.

Tippy wordpress plugin, for additional tool tips for your readers
A interesting wordpress plugin that gives you a way to include highly configurable tooltips in your wordpress powered blog.
A simple format to include the tooltips such like [tippy title=”Click me”]This is tooltip from tippy.[/tippy], In the above example that the tooltip can display HTML.
Version 2.0.0 adds a number of new features to Tippy. By default it will act as Tippy has always acted: hover over a link and the tooltip will pop up, following the mouse around the link. Mouse away and the tooltip goes away. I am the wordpress user, and i used to have lot of spam message, junk massage sent to my inbox through the contact us, comments of the posting. Deleting become part of my daily job. Until i found the WP-SpamFree to assist me in blocking the spam message. Beside this, I recently found another plugin called as http:BL wordpress plugin in that might assist us from people or bot that abuse our weblogs and websites, just for fun.
What does this plugin can do?
It actually allows user to verify IP addresses of clients connecting to your blog against the Project Honey Pot database.
With the help of the plugin's API, user can quickly check whether your visitor is an email harvester, a comment spammer or any other malicious creature. Communication with verification server is done via DNS request mechanism, which makes the query and response even quicker.
This plugin also potentially to protect any clients that are denied from accessing your blog and therefore abusing it. It is very interesting plugin, if got time, probably i will try it to install on my wordpress powered blog.

Wordpress 2.5.1 version is released
The latest version of wordpress is released. In this version of wordpress, it includes a number of bug fixes, performance enhancements, and other the security fix. WordPress contact form plugin - cforms II
cforms II is the contract form plugin for the wordpress blogging platform. It is easy to install and just need to insert a simple script of "create a page" page then you can have a custom contact form there.
WordPress can be a CMS even for static websites, so you probably can have a try on the contact form plug-in that make your life easy and without the need of write a programming script specially for your contact form.
This is the sample of the configuration page, it looks tidy and cool of the design. I was used for this contact form using the testing phase, but i still found that It not suitable for me, because I not very like the way to create a page for contact form, rather I more like to create a folder and put my contact form inside and named as index.php. Anyway, this is the cool contact form plugin I had even seen.

WordPress Version 2.3.2 released
The post has a quick fix if you want to protect yourself without needing to upgrade. The best option would be to upgrade your WordPress to version 2.3.2 though, which was released to fix this problem.
The new version also integrates a custom error page for database errors (the one that shows when the site is not able to connect with the database).
